Fostering Friends

Since 2000, Fostering Friends has served approximately 1,400 teens between the ages of 18 to 21. Fostering Friends was created to help emancipating foster teens make the transition from foster care to independent living. Assistance League volunteers partner with local agencies to provide teens with clothing for school and work. Duffle bags are provided filled with essentials for independent living. Volunteers mentor and reinforce positive choices as part of this program.
